The Grand Ole Opry has seen it’s share of stars and has also seen many one time flame outs. Tonight one hour long segment of the great show will have star power not seen in many headliner shows no maybe not even in a year will a city see a line up like this one. Lee Greenwood, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride,and Wynonna on one show in one segment. I have seen 2 of the 4 in other shows and am very tempted to go tonight just for this one segment. We go to the The Grand Ole Opry every once in a while when there is someone on the line up that we want to see. We made the trip for Charlie Daniels one year and Raul Malo one other time. The show is very good but they do have some folk on there who are not the cream of the crop. A show of super stars is what I want.
My dogs are in dire need of baths, and since there are five of them it is not an easy chore to get them all bathed. Add in that we have a couple of dogs that do not like to get wet, and Dottie is the very worst, she will hide as soon as the word bath is uttered out loud, Buck is not as bad he is ok as long as he can have his head hanging over the edge of the tub. Diva and the boys do not mind and are pretty good as soon as you get them captured and ready to get in the tub, sometimes the rodeo is pretty funny when we go to grab them up for their baths.

It is very hard for me to believe that the Green Bay Packers have traded the face of their franchise to the New York Jets. Brett Farve has been the face of the Green Bay Packers as long as I can remember. This trade has disturbed me for a couple of reasons, one why trade your most popular player, a player who has put butts in the seats for years and second why only get a middle round draft pick for a very valuable player, seems to me that the Packers dropped the ball in more ways than one. This is the time of year I like the best, it is almost 100 degrees and football is about to start, the teams have reported for training camp, every one except Brett Farve, and who know where he will be playing this year if he plays at all. From time to time I enjoy an older movie when we decide to watch a movie. I have several favorites and so does my wife, and they are not normally very close.
